Digital Envy: Showcasing the Best of Digital Fundraising

Presented by Rachel Clemens - Chief Marketing Officer, Mighty Citizen

DIGITALThat’s right, we’re firing up the very best digital fundraising examples from nonprofits like yours. This session will inspire and equip you with concrete tactics you can implement in your next digital fundraising campaign.

We’ll explore great content, unique thinking and delightful design through emails, websites, online advertising, donation pages, videos and anything else that increases online donations. And of course, you’ll be able to walk away with the presentation itself as a resource for future brainstorming.

Participants will learn:

  • How nonprofits are using creativity to engage donors and supporters.
  • What makes these “ best of” examples successful
  • How to take inspiration from these examples and turn them into real change at your organization

About the Speaker

Rachel ClemensRachel Clemens builds.

First, she built a career as a designer—working for some of the most recognizable names in advertising, including stints in London and Australia.

Then, she returned to Austin and built Creative Suitcase—her own strategic design firm. Over the next 11 years, Creative Suitcase became a darling of the Austin creative scene—securing partnerships with institutions like The University of Texas, United Way, Habitat for Humanity, and countless others. (The mural she organized for United Way, “You’re My Butter Half,” has become a beloved Austin cultural touchstone.)

In late 2016, Creative Suitcase merged with Mighty Citizen. As the Chief Marketing Officer, Rachel splits her days between promoting Mighty Citizen’s full buffet of digital and marketing services and working directly with clients on branding, marketing, and campaigns. She is also a frequent speaker at local and national conferences and events.
